A scientific achievement of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company has reached the international advanced level.

On March 24th, the technical achievement "Key Technologies and Applications for Detection and Evaluation of High-Risk Facilities in Oil and Gas Fields" led by Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company was evaluated by experts and was found to be at the international advanced level, filling the domestic technological gap in this field.
In response to the problems existing in the safety management of high-risk equipment and facilities under the jurisdiction of China National Petroleum Corporation, such as the lack of a targeted detection and evaluation technical system for pressure-bearing static equipment of high-risk processing devices, the absence of a full life cycle integrity risk assessment method for high-risk wellhead devices, and the low accuracy of safety level assessment for compressor unit equipment, Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company collaborated with Xinjiang Oilfield Company to conduct technical research and successfully created key technologies for the detection and evaluation of high-risk facilities in oil and gas fields. This achievement has been accepted and authorized for 19 national invention patents and utility model patents, published over 20 academic papers including SCI, obtained 4 software copyrights, and released 7 enterprise standards.
In recent years, the technical achievements have been applied in 2600+ sets of wellhead devices, processing devices, high-sulfur station sites, gas storage reservoir injection stations and booster stations in 12 major production units such as Tarim Oilfield, Changqing Oilfield, Southwest Oil and Gas Field, Xinjiang Oilfield and Daqing Oilfield, discovering a total of over 80,000 inherent safety issues. This has achieved safe, economic and stable operation of high-risk facilities in the oil and gas fields, significantly reducing unplanned shutdowns, and played an important role in ensuring local economic construction and social stability, achieving outstanding economic and social benefits.
