The aviation kerosene production of Lanzhou Petrochemical has reached an all-time high.
On May 21st, in the centralized control room of the refining area of Lanzhou Petrochemical, the on-site operation personnel of the 5 million tons/year atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit were carefully comparing the quality inspection and analysis results, sliding the mouse over the control points on the screen, and adjusting the external discharge volume of the first line of the atmospheric distillation, **to control the freezing point of aviation kerosene within the quality index limit, ensuring the maximum yield of aviation kerosene**.
Since the beginning of this year, Lanzhou Petrochemical has been guided by the market, fully implementing the policy of "reducing coal consumption and increasing aviation kerosene", achieving efficient coordination of production, sales and transportation, optimizing the product structure of refining, and making every effort to ensure the quality of products at the factory exit.
From January to April, Lanzhou Petrochemical produced over 340,000 tons of aviation kerosene, an increase of 8.94% year-on-year, setting a new production record; 1,281 trainloads of aviation kerosene were dispatched by railway, also setting a new record.
During production, the two atmospheric and vacuum distillation units of Lanzhou Petrochemical increased the final boiling point of aviation kerosene from the first line, adjusting the steam volume of the steam stripping tower intermittently according to the changes in crude oil properties, **to produce aviation kerosene components to the greatest extent;** the two aviation kerosene hydrocracking units optimized the product structure and strengthened the full-process control, **controlled the flash point of refined aviation kerosene, optimized the process and raw material ratio of the hydrocracking and refining units, and significantly increased the reaction conversion rate, enhancing the production capacity of aviation kerosene;** the 900,000 tons/year diesel hydrocracking and quality improvement unit adjusted the raw material ratio, controlled the bed temperature rise of the cracking reactor, the top temperature of the steam stripping tower, and the thermal balance of the reaction fractionation system, improving the operation efficiency and product conversion rate of the unit. Facing the characteristics of large temperature differences in the morning and evening, more sandstorms and accompanied by rainfall, Lanzhou Petrochemical adhered to standardized and refined inspections, focusing on monitoring the operation of large units, to ensure the production and quality of aviation kerosene.
At the same time, Lanzhou Petrochemical completed the "relay race" of aviation kerosene production, sales and transportation **as the last runner**, one hand grasping "fine blending", optimizing the operation of 4 aviation kerosene storage tanks according to the changes in the output and quality of aviation kerosene from upstream units, dynamically adjusting the oil blending volume in each batch, achieving "fast in and fast out", improving the turnover efficiency, and meeting market demand; the other hand grasping "efficient dispatch", strengthening the management of railway tankers for loading, unloading and transportation, minimizing the loading time and improving the vehicle turnover efficiency. On the basis of completing the oil product dispatch task, Lanzhou Petrochemical made full use of the available time to do cleaning of tankers and maintenance and upkeep of valves, pumps, and cleaning equipment, creating favorable conditions for the supply of aviation kerosene.
