At 6:25 am on June 27th, the IoT monitoring screen of the Third Oil Production Area of Fuyu Oil Production Plant in Jilin Oilfield suddenly flashed a red warning. "Alarm for leakage of packing in Well Group 24-20. Please deal with it immediately!" Monitoring officer Wu Chunjie promptly sent the faulty well number to the work group at the same time. Only 8 minutes later, the maintenance personnel of the East 20 production area arrived at the scene and completed the disposal.
From relying on manpower to frequently visit the site in the past, to now relying on intelligent systems for "diagnosis"; from making judgments based on experience in the past to making scientific decisions based on data now, IoT technology has provided a solid digital guarantee for the transformation and development of Jilin Oilfield.
In the production command center of the Sichuan South shale gas field, the screen is constantly displaying key data such as gas well pressure and production volume. This is the "Intelligent Production Smart Scene" created by the Digital Technology Company of Jilin Oilfield for the Sichuan South Branch. The project team has also compiled the "Work Scheme for Digitalization Construction in Sichuan South (2025-2027)" to set a "roadmap" for the digitalization construction in the Sichuan South region for the next three years. "We have for the first time achieved dynamic analysis and sharing application of single well data, shifting the production command from 'experience-driven' to 'data-driven'," project leader Gao Taosong pointed out, pointing to the process flow diagram on the screen. The company has completed the intelligent transformation of 55 process flow diagrams, solving the long-standing problem of data disconnection.
The new energy field has also witnessed frequent success stories. At the 11 substations on the Songnen Plain, technicians are busy adjusting the informationization renovation plan. "We have innovatively proposed the concept of 'Smart Power System', through the establishment of a data collection and analysis platform, it can monitor the operating status of power station equipment in real time. It is expected to reduce operation and maintenance costs by more than 15% throughout the year," said Cai Xiaodong, the person in charge of the New Energy Benefit Team.
In the computer room of Jilin Oilfield's Digital Technology Company, technicians are conducting final debugging on the "Logging Data Management System". This system has successfully solved the problems of governance and data entry for 3.3T unstructured data, achieving full-dimensional completeness of data for 488 core drilling wells. "Our independently developed 'Abnormal Data Detection Algorithm' can process 80,000+ daily water injection data every day, with a recognition rate of 98%," demonstrated technical researcher Xu Huiyao, who led the engineering cost management system, which has achieved a modular breakthrough and provided a digital pricing "toolbox" for oilfield construction.
In multiple well sites of the Songnan block, a "hidden revolution" is quietly taking place. The IoT field station maintenance team of Jilin Oilfield has established a full life cycle management system covering 3,095 devices, with a comprehensive online rate of 94.6%. They have developed an intelligent diagnosis module to solve the problem of unbinding of the shutdown instrument, and the online rate can be increased to over 98% in the second quarter.
